There are only two games in the Premier League on Sunday this weekend, but they are two potentially excellent matches with Newcastle United hosting Queens Park Rangers and Arsenal travelling to Swansea City.

Things have moved quickly to get the former Wales manager into the job and he will be looking to make a positive start at the Sports Direct Arena.

As for Newcastle, they are having a very enjoyable season and will see this game as an excellent chance to record a crucial three points.

Looking at the team news for this one, Newcastle will have to do without Cheick Tiote and Demba Ba who are at the African Cup of Nations, while QPR are having to do without Joey Barton, Adel Taarabt, Armand Traore and Alejandro Faurlin.

Sunday’s second game sees Swansea City host Arsenal at 4pm in a match that many are looking forward to. Both teams love to play football and it should be a thoroughly entertaining contest.

Swansea managed to hold Tottenham at home recently of course and they would love to go one better against an Arsenal side that has been up and down in terms of form all season.

With regards to the most significant team news ahead of this Super Sunday fixture, Swansea have a full squad to choose from with no fresh injury concerns.

As for Arsenal, they are set to bring Robin Van Persie back into the starting line-up, while Thierry Henry could make his first Premier League start since 2007.

Overall, both of Sunday’s games could go either way with all four teams capable of hurting teams going forward.

Between 1.30pm – 6pm, all eyes should be on Premier League football at its best!
