The TV cameras have picked a very interesting game here with Birmingham City and Wolves having different end of season targets but both definitely targeting this game with the same motivation to win so it should be a good, competitive game.
Alex McCleish must already be a serious contender for Manager of the Season having taken Birmingham City from being relegation favourites to an incredible 8th place in the Premier League and for that he deserves massive credit and respect.
Birmingham City have been magnificent this season with a straightforward, honest approach of hard work, commitment, solid organisation, great defensive strength and a fair degree of quality that has made them seriously hard to beat and a real test for all of their opponents.
Wolves have one clear target this season which is to maintain their Premier League status and so far Mick McCarthy's team have given it everything in every match.
To their great credit, Wolves have been very positive in every match illustrated perfectly by the terrific belief Wolves showed to get a 2-2 draw against Hull City.
That result should give the Wolves players a massive boost of confidence and Mick McCarthy will certainly be looking for his players to use that to keep their momentum going.
Tactically there is no secret to how Birmingham City play and certainly there are no secrets with team selection as Alex McCleish continues to play exactly the same side week in, week out and that is the reason why they are so well organised, so strong defensively and so hard to break down.
This is a very important match for both teams as Wolves chase points anywhere they can get them and Birmingham City looking to keep their incredible run going so we are not expecting this to be a classic but what we do expect is another solid, organised performance from Birmingham City and they look decent value to get another massive win.
